Pass, pass and shoot drill

Hey, here is the latest drill for you to try out with your team! It's a great drill to test your goal keepers and your teams shooting ability. As the title says, the drill is two passes and a shot for goal. As usual you can see an image below of what the layout should look like.

Step 1:

First setup 3 cones, set two up in line with each other on the edge of the big box area. Set the last cone up in the middle of the semi circle outside the box. the cones should make a triangle once you have set them up.

Step 2:

Once the layout is set and the players are ready, begin the drill. Start by passing the ball from left to right (or right to left, it's up to you. Just be sure to cover both sides so players can practice using both feet).

Step 3:

once the first pass reach cones 2, have the next player pass the ball on to cone 3, where your player waiting shoot will be waiting.

Step 4:

As the ball reaches cone 3, the shooting player must whack the ball first time, aiming for the goal. Either its will be a goal, the keeper will save it or your shooting players needs to practice.

Step 5:

Players will rotate and the shooting player will move to the first cone, passer one will move to cone 2 and passer two will become the next shooter.

This is a great drill for all to practice their skills and ensure your players are all training as if it were a real match happening!
